One Lighting System. Every Season.
Permanent outdoor lighting is a low-profile LED system installed once along your home’s roofline and controlled from your smartphone. Use warm white every night, colourful displays for Christmas and holidays, or custom scenes for special events.

Empire Home Service lighting systems come with a lifetime warranty on bulbs and a 10-year warranty on everything else, including the wiring, track, power box and controller.

See the Difference
Temporary lights, like the strands you hang for Christmas or other holidays, can look great for a few weeks each year. Permanent outdoor lights provide the same festive colours without annual installation, removal or storage—and add warm-white architectural lighting for the rest of the year.

Everyday Benefits
Skip the yearly climb, removal, storage, and untangling. Your lights stay installed and ready for Christmas, everyday evenings, and special events.
Use clean warm white for everyday curb appeal, then switch to colour for holidays, celebrations, and game days without changing the hardware.
Set schedules from your phone and let the system handle the routine.
For 250 LEDs rated at 1.2 watts each, running six to ten hours nightly over a 30-day month, estimated LED energy charges are $6.81–$11.35 per month, including 5% GST, using EPCOR’s 2025–2026 Edmonton Rate of Last Resort of 12.01¢/kWh.
This is the LED energy charge, not the total electricity bill. Your rate plan and delivery charges affect what you pay.

Built for Alberta
Rated to -50°C
Edmonton winters push seasonal lighting to its limit. Every component in the Prairie Lighting system is IP68-sealed and rated for continuous outdoor exposure at -50°C.
Fitted to Your Roofline
Freeze-thaw cycles, snow load, and complex fascia profiles mean improvised clips fail. Our crew measures and fits a purpose-built aluminum track to your exact roofline — no gaps, no movement, no annual reinstallation.
Stays Up All Year
Once installed, the system stays on your home permanently. No ladders in October. No storage in January. Your lighting turns on automatically every evening — for Christmas, for spring, for every season.
How It Works
Most Edmonton homeowners go from first contact to fully installed in under two weeks.
The online estimator gives you a starting price range in about two minutes. No obligation and no site visit required to get a number.
Empire Home Service plans every roofline around the home: we measure your roofline, select your track colour and map out your lighting zones. You approve the plan before any work begins.
Empire Home Service’s in-house crew completes the installation with no subcontractors. The crew handles the full job from start to finish, typically completed in a single day.
Most Edmonton homes typically range from $2,000–$4,500 for a front-only installation, with full-perimeter installations starting at $5,000+.
Pricing varies based on linear feet, roofline complexity, coverage, and property access. Our Edmonton pricing guide breaks it all down with real ranges, what's included, and what to watch for.
Why Empire
Meet the founders
Empire Home Service was founded by Carson & Harrison Moore — Edmonton-born brothers who built their reputation job by job before bringing permanent LED lighting to local homeowners.
That same local, hands-on approach guides every installation today: an in-house team, direct support, and a company that lives and works in the communities it serves.
Empire Home Service is based at 9805 33 Ave NW, Edmonton. We live and work in the same neighbourhoods we install in.
No subcontractors. Every installation is performed by Empire Home Service's own trained crew, so quality and accountability stay consistent on every job.
Empire's 30mm Pro 24V RGBWW LED bulbs are backed by a lifetime warranty, with 10-year coverage on everything else, including wiring, track, power box and controller.
Because we're local, support calls mean a local team member, not a call centre. Most warranty and service visits are scheduled within days.
Empire Home Service offers 0% financing through VaultPay. Spread the cost of your installation with no interest — ask about terms when you get your estimate.
Every Empire installation is protected by WCB coverage and full liability insurance — for your home, your family, and our crew.
